I actually wrote and composed this song back in 2002... It always meant so much to me because it talks about the desperation the poor children feel. They would rather die than live a life of misery and oppression. It is truly heartbreaking and sad to find that such barbarism and madness can still exists in a time when WE boast of 'progress' and 'modernity' and how the human race has 'developed'. I'm finally glad I was able to release the song. |
