I’ve been meaning to blog about all the things happening recently. Although I feel each trip genuinely deserves its own blog, I’m writing this blog with a intent to update you all on all recent developments.

Trip to Albania

I was invited by the MCA (Muslim Association of Albania) to visit the beautiful Albania and her beautiful community. I immediately accepted the invitation, of course . It was a truly blessed trip right from inception to culmination. For those of you who are not too familiar with Albania, I strongly recommend you do a little research and learn more about this gorgeous country. You can also learn more about my trip here

‘Make Me Strong’ music video

It took some time but we finally managed to release it. Make Me Strong has to be counted amongst one of my all-time personal favourite music videos (both song and the video). It has a special place in my heart for many reasons but mainly due to the personal dimension to it. I hope you all liked it and it was worth the wait

New album Salaam, Salaam World Tour and new SYO website

I’m very excited to be releasing this new Salaam album and I personally love what we’ve done to the site – hope you all do too ☺. Please stay tuned for further updates (hint: something to do with the ‘Reserved’ section in the SYcafé). ☺

ETM is working hard to organise a ‘Sami Yusuf Salaam World Tour’ which is currently set to be launched in South East Asia (Singapore first followed by Malaysia). We were recently in Singapore and Malaysia promoting the upcoming shows. Tunisia Show

The trip was AMAZING ☺ We really enjoyed ourselves! It took us 8 years to finally have the honour of performing there. By the grace of God, we have only heard good things from all those who attended the concert – and this is what matters most to me ☺ The warmth, kindness, love and – second to none – hospitality has left such a strong mark unlikely to be leaving us anytime soon ☺. Thank you all for this love and warm reception. We hope to be back again soon ☺ (note: lots of pictures to be added soon).

2012 has been a very busy year thus far. More than anything, I pray that I can contribute through my humble efforts to bring about, albeit it in a small way, more love, understanding, respect and peace for our human family ☺
